# Glex

> Glex is an independent developer and digital builder. He builds websites, software, Discord bots and the tools that bring them together, designs them, builds them and usually ends up running them too. He is currently building Orpheus and working as CMO at Instant Press.

Glex started out in the Web3 and gaming communities, building products, managing communities and working out how things run behind the scenes. That grew into a mix of development, design, infrastructure and marketing.

## Projects

- [Orpheus](https://orpheusbot.app): Discord music bot, live in 4,343 Discord servers. Built and developed from the ground up by Glex: the bot, audio infrastructure, website and dashboard. He handles development, infrastructure and day-to-day operation. 24/7 playback, lyrics and audio filters are free. Built with TypeScript, discord.js, Lavalink, Postgres and Next.js.
- Overlay Studio: streaming and broadcast software built by Glex. It brings overlay design and broadcast controls into one place: teams, scores, brackets, casters, timers and ad breaks, updating on stream in real time. Used for a live 3v3 tournament broadcast on 24 October 2026. Private project. Built with React, Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects and D1.
- [SLIME](https://agenceslime.ca/en/): bilingual (French and English) website for a design studio on Montreal's South Shore, designed and developed by Glex, replacing a WordPress.com setup. Includes a CMS so the founder manages content himself. Built with Next.js, a Git-based CMS and Vercel.
- [Beef Creative](https://beef-creative.pages.dev): portfolio website for an esports designer, rebuilt from scratch by Glex off a template-based builder. She updates it without touching code, and the build preserves her original dithered artwork. Built as a static site with Sveltia CMS on Cloudflare Pages.
- [Trim](https://trimbloat.com): free, open-source Windows 11 utility by Glex that removes preinstalled apps, advertisements and unnecessary background components. Every change is shown before it is applied and an undo script is generated. Built with PowerShell and WPF.
- [Instant Press](https://www.instantpress.co/): PR and AI search agency where Glex is CMO, working across marketing, growth, operations and automation for content production and publishing.
